Abu Dhabi International Fine Art and Antiques Fair

Participation is by invitation only and at the discretion of the organizers and the specially appointed Standards Committee.
The Fair will be presented with a prestigious newly designed white traditional wooden construction to 3.5 metres high with a raised muslin ceiling set off with beige carpet to stands and cream carpet to gangways. The whole Fair is enhanced with floral displays and soft fountains providing an elegant and sophisticated modern setting.
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE and is the seat of real wealth with the Government building many new Museums including the Guggenheim and The Louvre. Their mission statement heralds Abu Dhabi as the centre for art and culture in the Middle East and many initiatives are under way to ensure a successful future. Government patronage for the Fair will be forthcoming with more details to be confirmed in shortly.
The Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre is located adjacent to the marina and the commercial district only fifteen minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. The venue plan a feature tower including hotels and many more world quality hotels are in the city centre. Many of the largest international exhibitions in the Gulf are already staged at ADNEC including IDEX, the International Defence Exhibition and ADIPEC for Petroleum.

The Abu Dhabi International Fine Art and Antiques Fair will present a wide range of high quality art and antiques of all ages and disciplines. The Fair will be open to the public and all exhibits will be for sale.
Participating dealers will come from Europe, the Middle East and the Far East as well as from North and Central America. Exhibits will include a wide variety of disciplines including Contemporary Art which finds a high level of interest in the UAE with its multi-cultural society. | ![]() |
The square metre rate for 2008 will be US$550 and there is an early bird discount of US$50 per square metre for dealers returning the attached Application Form before 31st March with a signed contract returned by 31st May 2008. The price includes stand construction, carpet, raised muslin ceiling, power point, one spotlight per three square metres taken and a free one page entry in the official Fair Catalogue.

Exhibits will not be restricted by dateline but quality will be at the highest level subject to inspection by the Standards Committee. Among the disciplines represented will be Contemporary and Traditional Art and Sculpture as well as antiques including European and Asian ceramics and glass; clocks; scientific instruments; modern and antiquarian prints; posters and maps; books; militaria; |
decorative antiques; European, Asian and Oriental furniture; metalwork; Oriental carpets, tapestries and textiles; jewellery; antiquities and Asian works of art; silver and silver plate, antique lighting and objets d'art.
