Quality And Authenticity
The Abu Dhabi International Fine Art and Antiques Fair will provide the opportunity for dealers to exhibit a range of items which will be expected to meet high standards of quality and authenticity as stipulated by the Standards Committee, which will be chaired by Peter Wain, well known expert on Asian art, accompanied by selected experts in their individual fields of expertise.

The Fair is expected to feature contemporary and traditional art as well as antiques from all disciplines including paintings, watercolours and drawings, prints, posters, maps, antique clocks, barometers and scientific instruments, ceramics, militaria, decorative antiques, antique furniture, arts and crafts, metalware, glass, objects of Virtu/Vitrine, oriental carpets and rugs, antique jewellery, antique lighting, oriental objects, antiquities and Asian works of art, silver and silver plate, textiles, sculpture, treen and collectables.

Visitor Marketing
The Abu Dhabi and Dubai Fine Art and Antiques Fair will benefit from imaginative publicity campaigns embracing a multiplicity of media outlets: high quality lifestyle magazines, international and national newspapers and trade press across the Middle East region and overseas.
Duncan Phillips of Phillips PR has been appointed as European Press Officer to the Fair and his 20 years of experience and networking have brought considerable editorial columns and pages from leading media.
Radio and TV will also be encouraged to cover this exciting Fair and experts in their field will be involved in live broadcasts where available.
Buying with confidence is without doubt one of the key attractions of this high-end Fair and an expert Standards Committee will be invited to inspect all items prior to opening for quality and authenticity.
Technical Information
Stand rental includes 3 metre high white solid panels with a raised stretched muslin ceiling. Nameboards will be free hanging into the gangways on brackets as illustrated below.
Stands will include fitted carpet in pale beige to complement the exhibits. Gangways will be carpeted in an ivory shade to create a light and elegant setting to the Fair. A power point is included as well as one spotlight per
3 square metres of space booked.
Further technical information will be produced in the Information and Order Book including the Rules and Regulations, Standards Guidelines and details of how to order additional electrics and other services including glass showcases, safes, furniture and shipping.
The Information and Order Manual will be published on the website as soon as all the details are fully available.
Stand Costs
Stand costs include shell scheme as above, carpet, power point and one spotlight per 3 square metres of space taken: US$550 per square metre
Space only rates on request.
Costs also include cleaning and security of hall and basic catalogue entry.
VAT is not applicable in the UAE but there is a sales tax of 5% payable on goods sold based on the declared value of each item on the shipping documentation.
OPENING HOURS: The open times of the Fair is: 1600 hours to 2200 hours.
The weekend in the UAE is Friday and Saturday.
